GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 1 Puyallup (8-0) vs. No. 3 Graham-Kapowsin (7-1)

7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 at Sparks Stadium

It’s a Top 5 matchup for the 4A SPSL title on Friday night between the North division Vikings and the South division Eagles. Both teams feature explosive passing games, with Puyallup quarterback Noah Smith (2,097 yards, 262 yards per game, 35 TDs) and G-K quarterback AJ Tuivaiave (2,260 yards, 283 yards per game, 36 TDs) having nearly identical statistical seasons. There will be a ton of future college football talent on the field in what’s sure to be a packed house in the last game before the postseason kicks off. The Vikings are tested, with wins over Lake Stevens, Bellevue and Sumner. We’ll take the Vikings in a close one.
