Jesse Legree has set the college football world on fire, leading FBS in many receiving categories as a freshman.

His 1,040 yards and 14 touchdowns are both the best in college football.

He is averaging nearly 150 yards and two touchdowns per game.

But with such immense talent, many are wondering where he will transfer to after this season.

The 18-year-old would likely receive offers from every top team in the nation, but stars from his alma mater want to make sure he doesn’t go anywhere.

Johnson, who was a second-round pick out of Oregon State, is personally pledging $2 million to keep Legree.

He said if Oregon State can match his offer of $2 million, they can pay $4 million to keep Legree in Corvallis.

“Hey, JaMarcus Shephard, you give him $2 million, I give him $2 million,” Johnson said.

“That’s $4 million right there.”

It has to be encouraging news for Beavers fans, who are watching a star blossom in front of their eyes.

But Legree will have to want to stay at Oregon State for Johnson’s offer to hold any weight.

That will have to wait to be seen until the college football season ends.
