Former England midfielder Tim Sherwood has criticised Manchester United’s players after the club extended their winless run in the English Premier League.
Sherwood described the situation as “a disgrace” following United’s latest defeat, a heavy loss to Bournemouth in the eighth round of the league season.
The result prompted Manchester United supporters to boo the players at the final whistle. However, the fans showed their backing for manager Michael Carrick.
Manchester United’s most recent victory came on 10 September, when they beat Sabah in the Champions League. Since then, Carrick’s side have played eight matches without winning, losing five and drawing three.
