Tottenham hit with fresh injury worry as Roberto De Zerbi explains Destiny Udogie absence
'I kissed Rodrigo and said thanks' – De Zerbi says Bentancur headbutt sparked Spurs response

Destiny Udogie was left out of the Tottenham squad to face Coventry on Monday night due to a knee injury, Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed.

The Italian started last week’s 1-1 draw at Manchester United but was withdrawn in the second half.

And De Zerbi has now confirmed he suffered a knee injury at Old Trafford.

He told Sky Sports ahead of kick-off: "Destiny Udogie played 70 minutes and he suffered a problem in his knee and we didn't take a risk."

Udogie joins Pedro Porro, Savio and Lucas Bergvall on the Tottenham treatment table.
