Sol Ruca speaks about her arrival on the WWE main roster and how she has managed to shake ‘a bit of imposter syndrome.’

In April of 2026, the former NXT Women’s North American Champion would arrive on the WWE main roster and soon after would capture the women’s Intercontinental Champion, remaining staple of the WWE Monday Night RAW women’s division since then.

While speaking to the Fresno Bee in a new interview, Sol Ruca would briefly speak about dealing with imposter syndrome as an athlete.

“It was kind of like, ‘Wow, I do know what I’m doing. This is where I should be. Especially as an athlete, I feel like a lot of us have a bit of imposter syndrome, thinking, ‘I don’t know if this is right for me. This isn’t something I was passionate about when I was a little kid.’ But now I’m passionate about it, and that was definitely a bit of reassurance that this is where I’m supposed to be, I’m in the right place, and this is something I want to continue doing.”

Elsewhere in another recent interview, Sol noted that she has been told in the past that she would likely never be a heel in pro wrestling. You can read more about that here.
