LeBron James’ daughter celebrated her special day by cheering on her dad.

The 41-year-old basketball star’s daughter Zhuri sat courtside on Thursday, Oct. 22, ringing in her 12th birthday right by her dad’s side during the Philadelphia 76ers’ game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In a video posted by the official NBA Instagram account, the newly minted 12-year-old smiled and waved while wearing her dad’s jersey.

“Happy 12th Birthday, Zhuri James!” the caption read.

In addition to Zhuri, the professional NBA player and his wife Savannah are parents to sons Bryce, 19, and LeBron “Bronny” Jr., 22. Over the years, James has made it clear that he loves being a father to his children.

The doting dad has shared how much he loves his kids, telling Access Hollywood in 2021.

“My daughter is the greatest thing in my life, along with my boys. So, whenever she smiles, it don’t matter what I’m doing, it makes me happy,” he explained.

In February 2023, James’ wife and children were sitting courtside when he became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. Ahead of the milestone, Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri recorded congratulatory video messages for their dad.

“Congratulations, dad. Proud of all the work you’ve done. I love you so much,” Bronny said. Bryce added: “Congratulations, dad, surpassing Kareem for all-time scoring. I’m so proud of you. I love you. Keep it up.”

Back in February, James shut down rumors that his daughter might follow in his footsteps like her older brother Bronny.

In a post-game interview, the loving dad poked fun at the fact that his wife is “done with basketball” because of his career in the game and because both his sons Bronny and Bryce also play. Instead, Zhuri plans to focus on volleyball, the proud dad said.

“She’s a volleyball player, don’t get my wife mad. My wife is done with basketball, she’s done with it,” James said, causing the press to laugh in a clip shared to X by the official NBA account.

He added, “[Zhuri’s] a volleyball player, but she’s been around the game for a while, so she does got good handles and she’s good form, too. But, my wife ain’t playing that. Not another one. She says that’s it.”
