49ers' Mike Evans arrives to Monday Night Football in Steph Curry jersey

Before the Golden State Warriors open their regular-season on Wednesday night in Los Angeles, all eyes in the Bay Area will be on Levi's Stadium on Monday night. The undefeated San Francisco 49ers will host Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders for Monday Night Football in Santa Clara.

Before the game got underway, Mike Evans arrived at the stadium in a familiar jersey. The future Hall of Fame pass catcher paid respect to Steph Curry, wearing a black Golden State No. 30 jersey upon his arrival to Levi's Stadium.

In his first season in the Bay Area, Mike Evans has quickly fit in alongside George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy in Kyle Shanahan's high-powered offense. The veteran receiver has notched 24 receptions for 326 yards and three touchdowns through five games.

Before Monday Night Football, Evans is coming off his best game last week, catching seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown against the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.

The Niners will kickoff against the Commanders on Monday night at 5:15 p.m. PT.
