In Zegna, Ousmane Dembélé is suited up for back-to-back wins

Just a few hours before the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony in London, the PSG forward caught five with GQ

Ousmane Dembélé en Zegna pour le Ballon d'Or 2026.

Will Ousmane Dembélé become the second Frenchman to win a second Ballon d’Or after Michel Platini? That's TBC. But one thing is clear. The Paris Saint-Germain forward is on top in 2026: a second Champions League title clinched with the club, reaffirmed dominance in Ligue 1 with another French league title, and a pivotal role on Les Bleus during a World Cup that could have been a fairy tale (had La Roja not crossed their path in the semi-final).

The 29-year-old has joined the ranks of the all-time greats – the prodigies who make you sit up straight in your seats every time the ball lands at their feet. His first Ballon d’Or victory was never in any doubt. 2025 was undeniably his year — GQ France also recognised this at its Men of the Year ceremony. But the competition this year is particularly fierce: Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane, his countryman Kylian Mbappé, and his PSG teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are all in the starting blocks. Rarely has the competition for the Ballon d’Or been so fierce and unpredictable.

And as with every major moment in his career, Dembélé can count on Zegna’s support. As the first football player to become the global face of the luxury brand last June, the PSG forward once again turned to their expertise to choose his fit. Gone is last year’s understated black tuxedo with a shawl collar; this time, Dembélé went with a bolder colour, a warm burgundy. “The quality is exceptional, and the colour marks a new chapter for me,” says Dembélé.

The real heat in the tux is in the colour — a first for him — which highlights the satin details of his fit. It appears on the peaked collar of his single-breasted jacket, along the side of his pants with a trim that runs up to the pockets, and finally on the bow tie he wears over a shirt in a similar shade. As for accessories, he chose a pair of black leather loafers to complement his tuxedo, designed by Alessandro Sartori, Zegna’s current creative director.

The victory isn't secured just yet. But either way, he's suited up for it.
