Add another preseason award to Jeremy Fears Jr.'s resume.

Fears was named to the Associated Press (AP) Preseason All-America team on Wednesday. Fears was accompanied by Tyler Tanner of Vanderbilt, Thomas Haugh of Florida, David Mirkovic of Illinois and Motiejus Krivas of Arizona.

Fears has picked up a ton of preseason accolades heading into the 2026-27 campaign. That includes multiple All-American selections and also recently the CBS Sports preseason National Player of the Year award.

Fears had 23 points and eight assists in an exhibition loss against UConn on Tuesday. That type of performance may not have resulted in an exhibition victory against a fellow top 10 team, but certainly is the type of game we should be expecting from him all season.
