Morocco face Egypt in the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations Futsal semi-final on Monday, with the hosts seeking to move closer to a fourth successive title.

The match will take place at the Moulay-Abdellah Hall in Rabat on 19 October 2026, with kick-off at 20:00 local time in Morocco and Algeria. That is 19:00 GMT, 21:00 in France and 22:00 in Egypt.

The two teams are the most successful in the competition’s history, having won three titles each. Morocco are the defending champions after triumphing in the last three editions, in 2016, 2020 and 2024, while Egypt’s previous successes came in 1996, 2000 and 2004.

The semi-final will be shown in Morocco on public sports channel Arryadia. It will also be available to watch for free worldwide via CAF TV, the Confederation of African Football’s official YouTube channel.

CAF has confirmed that all 16 matches at the tournament will be streamed internationally. The game is also scheduled to be broadcast on beIN Sports 5 and Egyptian channel ON Sport HD.

Morocco have established themselves as firm favourites after a perfect group-stage campaign. Hicham Dguig’s side finished top of Group A by beating Algeria 4-0, Zambia 7-0 and Libya 6-0.

Those results have left the Atlas Lions with 17 goals scored and none conceded in the tournament. They secured their place in the semi-finals after only two matches, following their emphatic victory over Zambia.

Egypt took a less straightforward route through Group B. They began with wins against Tanzania and Mozambique but missed out on top spot after losing 4-2 to Angola.

The Pharoahs had led 2-0 in that match before Angola turned the game around. Despite that setback, Egypt remain one of the leading forces in African futsal and will be aiming to reach another final.

The other semi-final sees Algeria meet Angola at the Moulay-Abdellah Hall, with that match starting at 17:00. Algeria are appearing in the last four for the first time in their history.

The winners of both semi-finals will meet in the final on Wednesday, 21 October, with kick-off at 20:00. The defeated teams will play for third place at 17:00 on the same day.
