Arsenal have entered the race to sign Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, with manager Mikel Arteta reportedly keen to make the France international a central figure in his attack. The claims were reported by Fichajes.
Arsenal are said to hold a serious interest in the 24-year-old, and Arteta would like to bring him to north London. If a deal can be completed, the Spanish manager reportedly intends to give Olise a key role in the Gunners’ forward line.
However, Arsenal face competition from Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain and Liverpool, who are also continuing to monitor the winger’s situation.
Bayern Munich are working to extend Olise’s contract and are prepared to offer him significantly improved financial terms. The German club’s priority is to reach an agreement with the player, but if negotiations fail, Arsenal could make a more forceful move in the summer of 2027.
Olise has made nine appearances in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists. Transfermarkt specialists value the forward at 180 million euros.
The France international joined Bayern Munich with a strong reputation as an attacking player capable of operating from the wing. His current form has increased interest from several of Europe’s leading clubs, while Bayern Munich’s desire to retain him could make any potential transfer particularly costly.
The reported interest comes as Arsenal consider attacking reinforcements, with Arteta viewing Olise as a player who could have a decisive role in the team’s forward play. No transfer has been agreed, and Bayern Munich are still attempting to secure his long-term future.
Earlier comments from Pavlovich offered a different perspective on the attention surrounding the Bayern Munich player. Pavlovich said: “Olise is not at all like they portray him.”
