William Saliba on course for Arsenal return between November and December

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says William Saliba remains on course to return from a back injury between November and December.

The France international has yet to play for the Gunners this season and is continuing his rehabilitation. No specific return date has been given, but Arsenal expect him to be available during that two-month period.

Gabriel and Ezri Konsa have formed Arsenal’s central defensive partnership in Saliba’s absence. Both scored in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Everton.

Arsenal’s next fixture is against Fleetwood in the League Cup on 27 October.
