Quartey has been designated as the Reserve Assistant Referee for the Final between Morocco and Angola, scheduled to be played in Rabat on October 21, 2026, at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT).

The final will be officiated by a strong team led by Tunisian referee Abdelakram El Hentati as Referee, with South Africa's Sipho Machbeth Mahlangu as Referee 2 and Cameroon's Eric Elingui Mindjih as Referee 3. Libya's Mohammed Alsertawi will serve as Time Keeper.

The appointment is a significant milestone for Quartey, who continues to rise through the ranks of African refereeing, and a proud moment for Ghanaian officiating on the continental stage.
