Everton let Isaac Price walk out the door on a free transfer during the summer of 2023.
Despite Frank Lampard waxing lyrical about Isaac Price during his spell as Everton manager, Sean Dyche allowed the talented midfielder to leave on a free transfer to Standard Liege.
After 18 months in Belgium, Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion landed his signature for around £2.5m in January 2025.
Since then, Price has established himself as one of the most exciting midfielders in the division, and he’s only going from strength to strength.
With that said, the former Toffees youngster pulled off a sensational Panenka penalty yesterday.

Price is a central midfielder by trade, but West Brom manager James Morrison has used him off the left flank this season.
The 23-year-old has been on fire, as he’s scored six goals whilst laying on two assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.
Price has also been talismanic for Northern Ireland, as he’s racked up 11 goals for his country across 36 caps.
Clearly, the former Toffee is oozing with confidence as he had the courage to attempt a Panenka penalty against Blackburn Rovers yesterday, which he converted.

Regardless of how well West Brom do this season, it’d be surprising if he’s not plying his trade in the Premier League next term.
Back in May, it was actually reported that Everton were considering re-signing Price, but his £20m valuation wasn’t met.
Maybe Moyes and his recruitment chiefs will revisit the deal next summer, if indeed he’s not snapped up during the January transfer window.
Either way, it’s certainly looking like a big mistake by the club to let Price leave.
