There have certainly been rumours doing the rounds for a couple of weeks now, with results getting worse and worse, and this latest defeat could well prove to be the nail in the coffin.

The rumour mill is going to be properly heating up now, with Manchester United potentially on the hunt for a new manager once again.

The main names being linked are Eddie Howe, Julian Nagelsmann, Antonio Conte and even Brighton’s own Fabian Hurzeler.

It will certainly be a very interesting 24 hours for everyone involved with Man United.
