• Event: Jersey Tour To Uganda
• Dates: October 16-17
• Venue: Entebbe Cricket Oval

Jersey will visit Uganda to play two 50-Over games against the hosts before proceeding to Kenya for the final leg games of the Challenge League.

Jersey is top of Group A and will look to consolidate that position to push for ODI cricket at the next round of the qualifiers.

Jersey is three points ahead of Kuwait, who are in second place, and they will need a solid shift to ensure they don’t lose the top spot.

Jersey will be visiting with their star player, Asa Tribe, who has played for the England Lions and has built a great reputation globally, and he will be one of the players to entertain local fans.

Jersey is no stranger to Uganda, and they were in Uganda in 2022 for the Challenge League, but they never played in Entebbe, where both games will be.

Team Uganda will be missing some of its best players because of the T20 World Cup Qualifiers assignment in Nigeria, but the selected squad is a solid unit. The side will be led by Fahad Mutagana, who recently made his debut for the T20 side during the ILT20 Cup in Rwanda.

The games will be played at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am.

Team Uganda: Fahad Mutagana (C), Ronald Lutaaya, Robert Owili, Paul Mulongo, Steven Wabwose, Richard Agamire, Musa Majid, Asaba Brian, Gurjivan Singh, Munir Ismail, Bilal Hassun, Ivan Baidhu, Christopher Kidega
