SOPHIE Cunningham has sent fans into a frenzy after the WNBA star was spotted cozying up with a Dancing with the Stars icon.
Cunningham, 30, is enjoying her WNBA offseason to the fullest extent following the Indiana Fever’s early playoff exit.
She stole the show at the Formula 1 US Grand Prix last weekend having been handed the honor of waving the checkered flag.
The Fever guard was labeled ‘America’s treasure’ by fans as she was dressed to impress out in Texas for race day.
And now Cunningham has sent her fans into a frenzy once again as she was spotted backstage at a recent Dancing with the Stars taping.
Duck Dynasty star actress Sadie Robertson took to her Instagram on Wednesday night to share backstage snaps of her there.
And in the DWTS star’s last slide, she posted a picture of her and Cunningham in the ballroom.
Robertson was the runner-up on the show in 2014 having been paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas.
Her Instagram caption read, “So good to be back in the ballroom with so many special people! 🪩🤍
“Always a good time cheering on old friends and meeting new ones!!!”
And at the top of her comments was the WNBA star, who wrote in response, “the sweetest ❤️.”
Fans were also loving the collab between the two notable faces.
“my two favorites in one post nooo way ✨🩷🫶🏼 @legitsadierob @sophie_cham,” commented one.
“Sadie & Sophie?! Iconic ❤️,” added another.
“@legitsadierob + @sophie_cham, the duo we never knew we needed,” wrote a third.
It will be an interesting offseason for Cunningham, soon-to-be an unrestricted free agent and also one of the most polarizing figures in the league.

There is no sign just yet whether Indiana will extend her on a new deal, having only signed a one-year extension late on ahead of the season.
While her future in the WNBA is uncertain, there will almost certainly be other ventures outside of the league for her to pursue.
