Richarlison backs Duncan Ferguson’s criticism of Tottenham decision

Richarlison has publicly supported Duncan Ferguson after the former Everton striker questioned Tottenham’s handling of the Brazilian forward.

Richarlison has not played for Tottenham’s first team since August, when the club lost 3-0 to Brentford. Following unsuccessful attempts to move to another club during the summer, he was left out of Tottenham’s squad for the Premier League season.

Ferguson, who worked with Richarlison as a coach during his time at Everton, expressed doubts about whether Tottenham had made the right decision.

Richarlison responded by publicly backing Ferguson’s criticism.

On Sunday, journalists asked Roberto De Zerbi about the Brazilian’s post. The Italian said he had not been involved in the decision to leave Richarlison out of the squad and directed questions on the matter to the club’s leadership.

However, De Zerbi added that he was willing to speak to Richarlison personally.
