It was seven months ago when "Timeless" Toni Storm spent AEW Revolution defeating Marina Shafir and getting face to face with Ronda Rousey, suggesting another eventful year for the former AEW Women's World Champion. But just days later Storm was found laid out backstage at "AEW Dynamite," and since then has been MIA, with no hint to what happened to her, where she is, or when she'll return. That changed at AEW WrestleDream, when wrestling fan/podcaster Astrid Pizarro, who attended the event, revealed she had received a cassette tape featuring recordings of Storm.

After further tweeting about the tape, including providing transcripts, Pizarro would post the audio on YouTube on Sunday, which began with an intro from AEW's Renee Paquette. Paquette explained that, after months of no word from Storm, a brown paper package arrived at AEW headquarters last week, held together by string with no return address. Five analog cassettes were found inside, with the one provided to Pizarro being called "Mundanities."

Storm could be heard on the first four tracks of "Mundanities," beginning with her starting the day in "Morning Mantra," having a vulgar conversation with her dog, Chauncy, in "Talking to Chauncy," giving advice to prospective wrestlers in the brief track "Seminar," and performing in her unreleased film "Toni Toni Toni" alongside an unknown actor in "Cinema." Though Paquette mentioned a fifth track called "Death," no recording of the track was played, with Paquette instead describing it as "fantastical, mysterious, it's undeniably timeless."

With four other cassettes still yet to be released, it appears more audio of Storm is set to be heard in the near future, strongly suggesting that Storm could be making her return to AEW in the near distant future. In what may or may not have been a coincidence, AEW owner Tony Khan was questioned about Storm at the post-WrestleDream press scrum, with Khan firmly stating that Storm would be back in AEW, his first statements regarding her status in months.
