Alan Shearer identifies three possible successors if Manchester United sack Michael Carrick

Former England striker Alan Shearer has discussed three potential candidates to replace Michael Carrick as Manchester United manager should the club decide to dismiss him.

Shearer believes the Red Devils are enduring a difficult period, with problems affecting both their performances on the pitch and matters away from it.

Manchester United have taken only six points from their opening six Premier League matches this season. Carrick’s side are currently 13th in the table.
