Tip of the Day: All eyes on playmaker Gross

He's in form and a wizard from set-pieces. Sunday's Tip of the Day is here...

Sunday sees one of the more unusual derbies in the Premier League and we have backed the in-form man to deliver once again.

The so called M23 derby at the Amex Stadium sees Brighton host Crystal Palace, and we say get on Pascal Gross to either score or provide an assist against the Eagles.

The German playmaker has been in sublime form under Fabian Hurzeler, directly contributing to seven goals across his first six Premier League appearances this season, including involvement in each of his last three matches.

Operating as the orchestrator of an attack that has already racked up 18 goals, Gross also monopolises penalties, corners, and attacking free-kicks, making him a constant threat against an out-of-sorts Palace defence that regularly struggles against deliveries from wide areas.

Elsewhere, Elland Road sets the stage for a fiery Roses rivalry, and backing both teams to score when Leeds United host Manchester United looks like the ideal foundation for a weekend double.

Leeds rarely draw a blank in front of a raucous home crowd and have found the net with consistency all season, while Michael Carrick’s side remain fragile at the back having managed just one victory in six league outings. With United languishing in 14th place yet still boasting genuine transitional firepower on the break, this historic fixture has all the ingredients of an open, end-to-end clash where clean sheets will be hard to come by.

Sunday’s tip (odds are from bet365 and correct as of 10am on Sunday, October 18)

Pascal Gross to score or assist against Palace @ 21/20

Leeds v Man Utd both teams to score @7/10

Combined odds of 2.48/1

A £10 stake will return £34.85
