The Don Callis Family could be heading toward a major breakup after a disastrous night at AEW WrestleDream 2026. Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight challenged The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship on October 17.

Matt and Nick Jackson survived a very competitive match to retain their championships. But the final moments raised questions about the challengers’ partnership. Tension within the Don Callis Family has been growing, and this latest loss could be another sign that the group is starting to fall apart.

The Young Bucks and their challengers put on a fast-paced match filled with counters, near-falls, and highlight-worthy moves. Fletcher and Knight also used some of The Bucks’ signature moves early in the match.

Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight continued to put pressure on The Bucks. Fletcher hit Matt Jackson with a powerful Brainbuster from the top rope. Knight followed with a UFO Splash, but Nick Jackson broke up the pin.

The challengers came very close to winning, but problems between them started to show as the match reached its final stages.

Fletcher hit a Half and Half on Matt, but Knight then tagged himself in. This led to a visible argument between the teammates, hinting that they were struggling to work together.

Things got worse when Knight attempted another Coast to Coast move but was hit with a superkick in mid-air. Fletcher then hit a Half and Half on both Bucks, but the champions answered with a Superkick Party.

The biggest mistake came when The Bucks went for another BTE Trigger. Knight jumped from the top rope with a lariat, but he accidentally hit Fletcher instead of his opponents.

Knight’s mistake left him open to The Bucks’ BTE Trigger. Matt then pinned Knight to secure the victory.

It was a tough ending for Fletcher and Knight, who had come so close to winning the championships. However, the accidental collision between the teammates might have consequences beyond their failed title challenge.
