The Club Omnisport de Korhogo will host AS FAR Rabat on Saturday, 17 October 2026, in the first leg of their second preliminary-round tie in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The match will be played at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT. The fixture presents a significant challenge for the Ivorian side, who face a Moroccan team with extensive experience of continental competition.

CO Korhogo will be aiming to secure an advantage before travelling to Morocco for the return leg. To do so, they will need to combine defensive discipline with collective organisation and pace when moving forward.

Playing in front of their home supporters, the club’s players will hope to make the most of the opening match and record a result that keeps their hopes of progressing in the competition alive.

Sylvain Gbohouo is one of the players expected to attract attention. The experienced goalkeeper was part of the Cote d’Ivoire team that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015.

In midfield, Missan Prince Israel, listed as an attacking midfielder in the club’s squad, could also have an important role in shaping CO Korhogo’s play.

Against AS FAR Rabat, the Ivorian club will need to make its opportunities count if it is to approach the second leg in the strongest possible position.
