The Professional Fighters League (PFL) marked a milestone moment with its North African debut at the iconic Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, Morocco.
The event saw the continent's top mixed martial arts talent battle through high-octane semifinals, locking in key tournament matchups across multiple weight classes.
In the heavyweight main event, Senegal's Abdoulaye Kane silenced the local crowd with a dominant first-round technical knockout over Moroccan favourite Badr "Dastan" Medkouri.
"Winning the main event of PFL Africa in Casablanca is a moment I will never forget," Kane reflected after his victory.
"Your support gives me the motivation to keep pushing my limits and becoming a better fighter every single day. This victory belongs to everyone who stood behind me."
In the co-main event, Algeria's Yanis Ghemmouri delivered a tactical masterclass, earning a unanimous decision victory over Morocco's Taha Bendaoud in a featherweight showdown.
Beyond the feature bouts, the events set the stage for the highly anticipated PFL Africa finals scheduled for December 12 at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.

In the welterweight division, Angola's Shido Boris Esperanca advanced via a TKO win over South Africa's Peace Nguphane.
Esperanca will face undefeated David Samuel, who punched his ticket to the final with a decision victory over Rivaldo Pereira.
The lightweight bracket saw an intense Nigerian clash, where Patrick Ocheme earned a body kick TKO over Cornel Thompson.
Ocheme moves forward to face Senegal's Demba Seck, whose bout against Hussain AL Kurdi ended in a no contest due to an accidental groin strike.
In the bantamweight division, Liberia's Dwight Joseph secured a hard-fought win over Angola's Boule Godogo.
Joseph will fight Raphael Uchegbu for the championship after Uchegbu advanced when his opponent missed weight.
The action-packed card featured additional victories for regional prospects, including wins by Morocco's Reda Abdellaoui and Abderrahman Errachidy, Senegal's Mouhamed Ba and Nigeria's Jane Osigwe.
With the finalist matchups now set, all eyes turn to Kigali as Africa's top fighters gear up to compete for championship honours.
