Magesi FC and Real Native FC returned to winning ways in the Motsepe Foundation Championship to safeguard top spot and second position respectively.

Magesi fought back to overcome Venda FC 3–1 through an Elmo Kambindu brace and Matome Mabeba strike (with Thifhelimbilu Magalela scoring for Venda), keeping them top with 17 points.

While Real Native held firmly onto second on 15 points as Kaizer Chiefs loanee Ofentse Kgosana struck to edge The Bees 1–0 away.

Third-placed Cape Town City, on the other hand, kept pace with the leaders as Kayden Francis, Gabriel Amato, and Rai Vloet scored in a dramatic 3–2 win over Gomora United, despite Tiklas Thutlwa's double.

Upington City shut out Orbit College 2–0 with goals from Palelo Mafuyeka and Daweron Van Rhyn, while Hungry Lions swept past University of Pretoria 2–0 via strikes from Lesedi Motha and Katlego Cwinyane.

At the bottom, rock-bottom Venda FC saw their woes continue with a sixth defeat, while North-West University FC secured a historic first-ever Motsepe Foundation Championship victory as Kabelo Moagi netted to beat Leicesterford City 1–0.
