Seventy-seven licensed archers anchor the club’s roster, where leadership outlined upcoming indoor tournaments and outdoor championships during the October 16, 2026, general meeting.
Gérard Legoupil addressed members and Jean-Pierre Mauquest during the assembly, detailing club finances, athletic reports, and facility improvements. The club counts 30 women and 47 men among its 77 members, split between 36 minors and 41 adults. Practical upgrades to the salle Auguste-Hamel include electrical work completed by a professional via municipal intervention, alongside the construction of a specialized mounting bracket—known locally as a potence—to assist visually impaired female archers.
Individual achievements marked the sporting year for the club. Chloé Lemoigne earned selection to officiate at the French championships held in Saint-Avertin in June, while Ambre Fouace secured her federal coaching diploma in May 2026. A younger archer has begun referee training, expanding the club's administrative footprint.
Competition planning dominates the upcoming months. The club hosts its premier indoor tournament on November 28 and 29, 2026. Looking toward the spring, the departmental committee proposed the club to host the outdoor target archery championship—known as Tir à l’Arc en Extérieur—on May 30, 2027, with the event slated for the stade Louis-Lecacheux. A leisure day is scheduled for June 19, 2027, featuring morning sessions for para-archers and afternoon clinics for beginners. To support these events, leadership plans to overhaul the indoor target wall, acquire outdoor canopies, and supply competitive archers with long-sleeved warm athletic wear.
Pour la saison 2026-2027, le club espère réaliser le tir à l’arc en extérieur du 30 mai 2027 sur le stade Louis-LeCacheux, comme support du Championnat de la Manche proposé par le comité départemental.
