The Ugandan flag bearers need to win by two-goals to advance to the next round but must do what no Ugandan club have done against Al Ahly in their own backyard.
Kitara coach Wasswa Bbosa admits it will be uphill task eliminating Al Ahly in Cairo in the Caf Confederation Cup but remains adamant that nothing is impossible.
The Egyptian side hold a 2-1 first leg advantage after coming from a goal down to beat the Royals at the Hoima City stadium on Saturday with Bbosa watching from a distance as he still lacks papers to sit on the bench.
“Next is rectifying our mistakes that denied us victory in the first leg,” said Bbosa. “I know it will be difficult in Cairo but nothing is impossible in football,” he added.
“Just like they have come here (Hoima) and won, we can also do it in Cairo and qualify for the group stages.”
Kitara are scheduled to travel on Friday with the return leg on Sunday at Cairo International stadium.
