Nottingham Forest have an academy to be proud of, and with the first team currently struggling, it will come into focus once again.

The senior ranks are second bottom of the Premier League under Oliver Glasner at the moment. The first seven games have been a real struggle, and it’s been worrying times in the early stages of the campaign.

Is Murillo right? Have you seen enough from the performances under Glasner that Forest can get things right this season?

The academy continues to thrive, however, with a number of top talents starting to come through the ranks with genuine belief they can walk the pathway to the first team.

Azae Bonnick is one player tipped for greatness, and now, he must be on cloud number nine, with another feather added to the young player’s cap over the last 24 hours.

Azae Bonnick makes England under-15 World Cup squad

The under-15 World Cup is just around the corner, and Bonnick will now be packing his bags, ready to head off with the young England team.

Bonnick has made his B-Team debut this season in the EFL Trophy against Burton Albion, and it’s clear that the club have very high anticipation that he can go to the next level in the future.

Representing your country at any age level is a superb achievement. Players like Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi won the under-17 World Cup, and now Bonnick will hope to follow in their footsteps with his age group.

Bonnick is a forward who simply loves to get involved with goal contributions, and he will be keen to make sure he gets on the pitch when it comes to the under-15 World Cup.

This year’s event takes place in Azerbaijan and gets underway on the 24th of October, lasting for six days, with England competing to try and win the title.

Bonnick will hope to help England in games against Cambodia, Montenegro, Nicaragua, Ireland and Zimbabwe.

This is the first tournament of its type at this age group and now, there is a real hope that Bonnick can play a part in the tournament and continue making Forest proud during the competition.
