Letsgo Potch Marathon delivers a day of highlights

A unique aspect that added to the prestige of this race was the incorporation of the ASA 10km National Championships as well as the SAPS 21 km championships that saw top runners from across the country take to the streets of Potchefstroom.

Runners from all walks of life gathered to achieve their own personal milestones during spectacular races and various distances at the 2026 Letsgo Potch Marathon on Saturday, October 17.

The atmosphere was tangible at the starting line with every racing feeling like an important event with smoke, flames and light adding to the spectacle at the North West Cricket Oval.

A unique aspect that added to the prestige of this race was the incorporation of the ASA 10km National Championships as well as the SAPS 21 km championships that saw top runners from across the country take to the streets of Potchefstroom.

One of the best aspects of the Letsgo Potch Marathon was found in the pre-race excitement and post-race cool down and community aspect where runners spent time socialising and enjoying their moment of conquering the marathon with a new medal to add to their collection.
