The second tier division on the pyramid of Uganda’s football; FUFA Big League resumes with match day five at different venues across the country.

One key fixture will entail the West Nile derby between Paidha Black Angels and Pakwach Young Stars at the Bar Okoro stadium in Zombo district.

Under Mark Twinamatisko as head coach, Paidha Black Angels come to this duel in red-hot form as they are unbeaten this season.

At their dreaded fortress in Zombo, league debutants Pakwach Young Stars will face not only a solid side on the football pitch, but also, an intimidating crowd.

Other games:

Still in the West Nile region, Onduparaka plays host to newcomers Rwenzori Lions at the Aba Bet Green Light Stadium, Arua.

In the heart of the capital city, Kampala; CATDA plays host to another newly promoted entity Buwambo United at the Hamz stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial grounds).

Elsewhere; Allan Kabonge’s coached Iganga United hosts a wounded Amus College at the Prime Vocational Institute playground, Iganga.

Amus College fell 0-1 to CATDA last week at the Sapir hill in Bukedea.

In Western Uganda; Karoo Karungi entertains Young Elephants Academy at the Kyamatte playground, Ntungamo whilst Kiyinda Boyz will take on SC Volcanoes at Bertherm City Stadium, Kiwenda.

It remains cut-throat competition amongst all the clubs since only two clubs will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League by the end of the season in May 2027.

Four clubs shall be demoted from the Uganda Premier League to the FUFA Big League.
