FERMIN LOPEZ shared a heartwarming moment with his grandmother after Barcelona’s impressive 5-2 victory over Betis.

Lopez’s gran presented him with a jacket following the 23-year-old’s gesture of giving his warm-up shirt to a young Barcelona supporter in the stands.

The touching moment unfolded as she extended her hand to give him a black jacket after sharing a hug and a kiss on the cheek post-match.

In a video on X, the talented midfielder was asked about the influence his grandmother has had on his football career.

A shirtless Lopez expressed: “She’s a significant part of my life and I’m really glad she’s here at the match.

“I love her immensely, and she’s always there to support me, truly.”

The delightful exchange followed Lopez’s 62-minute performance for Barcelona, during which he received a yellow card in the first half.

After relinquishing his number 16 jersey to Rodri before the season, Lopez partnered with him to provide an assist that restored the visitors’ lead just moments before halftime.

This boosted Barcelona’s morale, leading to goals from Gabriel Jesus, Eric Garcia, and Dani Olmo, confirming a commanding win over Betis.

Lopez’s grandmother has quickly become a fan favorite among Barcelona supporters, who have shown their admiration on social media.

Lopez has maintained his strong form this season, scoring in Barcelona’s 4-1 Champions League victory over Galatasaray on Tuesday night.
