Boland edged the Titans after two Super Overs, while Western Province Cobras and Eastern Storm also won in Sunday’s Pro20 Cup action.

The Paarl contest required two deciders after Boland finished on 137-9 in reply to the Titans’ 137-8. Both sides then scored 9-1 in the first Super Over before Boland restricted the visitors to 4-2 in the second and replied with 7-0 to seal victory.

Lehan Botha held Boland’s chase together with an unbeaten 52 off 47 balls, hitting three fours and two sixes. His 70-run fourth-wicket partnership with Jhedli van Briesies, who contributed 26, helped the hosts recover from 32-3.

Eathan Bosch kept the Titans in the contest with 4-22, while Tabraiz Shamsi claimed 3-24. Bosch dismissed Glenton Stuurman and Siyabonga Mahima in the final over, with Mahima bowled off the last delivery to leave the scores level.

Earlier, Dayyaan Galiem top-scored for the Titans with 31 off 24 balls, while Bosch added an unbeaten 27 off 18. Stuurman and Mahima each took 2-22, with Nathan Jacobs returning 2-21.

In Pietermaritzburg, the Cobras beat the Tuskers by five wickets via the DLS method. The hosts posted 164-3 in 17 overs before the visitors finished on 117-5 from their revised allocation of 12 overs.

The Cobras slipped from 83-1 to 88-4 and lost Daniel Smith with the score on 105 in the final over. Oliver Whitehead then struck an unbeaten 12 off three balls, including a four and a six, to help secure victory.

At Willowmoore Park, Eastern Storm defeated CSA High Performance by four wickets. After restricting the visitors to 145-8, the Benoni side reached 146-6 in 16 overs to complete the chase with 24 balls remaining.

Rain prevented a result between North West Dragons and Northern Cape Heat in Potchefstroom. The Dragons were struggling at 22-3 after 3.1 overs in pursuit of 181 when their chase was halted.

Northern Cape’s innings had been built around unbeaten half-centuries from Jordan Neill and Blake Simpson. Neill smashed 74 off 41 balls, including five sixes, while Simpson contributed 51 off 35 to lift the visitors to 180-3.
