Paul Heyman WWE plans: What next for ‘The Oracle’ after being turned down by Oba Femi?
WWE

Ever since Oba Femi retired Brock Lesnar back at WWE SummerSlam, fans have speculated that Paul Heyman may potentially have his eyes on recruiting “The Ruler” as his next client.

Despite still (kinda) being aligned with Femi’s most recent rivals in The Vision, Heyman went ahead and finally made the first move during last week’s Raw (October 12), but Femi was having none of it.

This now leaves Heyman in a supremely awkward spot as his public attempt to recruit Femi can’t have done his relationship with The Vision any favors whatsoever. In fact, Heyman may very well have put himself at risk of physical harm with his actions.

With this in mind, here are three potential paths forward for Paul Heyman after being turned down by Oba Femi:

Taken out by The Vision

Last week’s Raw suggested that the feud between The Vision and Oba Femi was done, with Femi recently looking ahead to Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker switching his attention towards Mr. Money in the Bank Penta.

Despite it appearing this way however, it’s hard to imagine The Vision simply turning a blind eye to what went down last Monday with Paul Heyman and Oba Femi.

Heyman has been extremely disinterested when it comes to The Vision almost all year long, so seeing him attempt to align with Femi will be a massive kick in the teeth for the group.

It wouldn’t be a big surprise to see Heyman pay for this mistake with blood, as Bron Breakker in particular is not someone to be trifled with at this point in time. However, even if he’s not interested in becoming a “Paul Heyman Guy” it’s hard to imagine Oba Femi would sit back and allow the Hall of Famer to be beaten down, so, ironically The Vision could help unite the pair in their attempt to punish their former “Oracle”.

Realigns with Roman Reigns & The Bloodline

If Oba Femi isn’t going to rush to his side, Paul Heyman could always turn to his once beloved “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns.

The Bloodline will always feel a little incomplete without their “Wiseman”, but them not having Heyman by their side has helped differentiate this version of the group from the one that ruled over WWE between 2020 and 2024.

While Heyman’s betrayal of Reigns is likely not something “The OTC” has forgotten, there has to still be some love there deep down. If there is, then perhaps there is also a way back for their friendship.

Moves to SmackDown to unite with Cody Rhodes

Rather than retreading old ground, Paul Heyman could start up an all new, extremely exciting partnership over on SmackDown with Cody Rhodes.

With Rhodes dropping some not so subtle teases of a potential Heyman alliance during his feud with Randy Orton, fans have been salivating at the prospect of a heel “American Nightmare” uniting with one of his most famous rivals in recent years.

Much like Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman’s alliance in 2020 Rhodes and Heyman would shake up WWE completely and do absolute wonders for refreshing Cody’s character and presentation.
