Several WWE stars have been reunited in recent months, including Penta and Rey Fenix, who wrestled as the Lucha Brothers in AAA.
Following these, there have been rumors swirling about other former tandems coming together again on WWE TV, some of which have been fuelled by certain stars’ comments.
Between Raw, SmackDown and even NXT, there are numerous stars who we could soon see find their way back to a former ally, for one reason or another.
Here are three more former teams which could soon reunite in WWE.
During an interview with Off The Ropes, Tatum Paxley commented on the possibility of interacting with Lyra Valkyria’s current character, stating:
“I would love to have a long playdate with this Lyra Valkyria and get to know her, because I feel like it was in her this whole time, but I couldn’t get it out.
“Now that it’s out there, I would love to just have a long sit-down with her.”
Following their history together in NXT, we could eventually see Paxley and Valkyria back together on the main roster, under a different dynamic.
With Paxley holding the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Alexa Bliss however, we could also see the former friends face off.
The 946 faction has recruited new members while targeting the Bloodline faction, with Jaida Parker and Carmelo Hayes joining forces with Royce Keys, Lucien Price and Bronco Nima.
With this group being a real problem for the Bloodline, notably taking out Jacob Fatu, we could see Roman Reigns bring in an old friend to help him take down Royce Keys’ faction.
Seth Rollins hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV since unsuccessfully challenging for Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
With the duo bumping fists after the match, it’d make sense to see the duo share the ring as allies in the future.
Keeping with the Bloodline theme, once Jacob Fatu returns, we could see him align with a real-life cousin.
Jacob and Zilla were teammates very early in Zilla’s pro-wrestling career, competing in four matches together in GCW in early 2024, prior to Jacob signing with WWE.
With Zilla Fatu currently in NXT, a reunion of this team would be possible following a main roster call-up.
Not only could this team battle the 946, this tandem could also face off against the main Bloodline faction, following numrous teases of disension between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu.
