It was left to the Fayetteville-Manlius duo of Sadie Toole and Lindsey Chong to carry the whole banner of Section III girls tennis during the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championships.

Only Toole and Chong were able to reach the quarterfinal round on either the doubles or singles side as the NYSPHSAA tournament unfolded inside the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens.
