Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Siwelele in the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals following Wednesday’s draw in Durban.

Amakhosi secured their place in the last eight with a commanding 3-0 win over TS Galaxy. Meanwhile, Siwelele survived a tougher challenge against Polokwane City to reach the same stage.

The quarter-final clash will take place during the weekend of 7 and 8 November. Chiefs will enjoy home advantage as both sides target a semi-final place.

Duba Hat-Trick Sends Chiefs Into Quarter-Finals

Wandile Duba delivered a memorable performance against TS Galaxy on Tuesday evening. The forward scored all three goals at FNB Stadium to complete a brilliant hat-trick.

His clinical display helped Chiefs secure a comfortable victory and continue their Carling Knockout Cup campaign. Consequently, Amakhosi now face another important test against Siwelele.

Their opponents took a different route into the quarter-finals. Siwelele overcame Polokwane City in a penalty shootout last weekend to keep their trophy ambitions alive.

The upcoming encounter therefore presents both teams with an opportunity to move closer to silverware. However, Chiefs must build on their convincing victory to avoid an upset.

Chiefs Host Siwelele as Quarter-Final Line-Up Takes Shape

The organisers have scheduled the quarter-final fixtures for 7–8 November. However, officials have not yet confirmed the final venue arrangements and ticketing details.

The Premier Soccer League is expected to provide further information ahead of the matches.

Meanwhile, the draw has produced three other intriguing encounters. Stellenbosch FC will face AmaZulu, while Orlando Pirates welcome Sekhukhune United.

Mamelodi Sundowns will also meet Golden Arrows in another quarter-final showdown.

Orlando Pirates enter the competition as defending champions after beating Marumo Gallants 1-0 in last season’s final.

With a semi-final place on the line, the remaining contenders will now prepare for crucial knockout battles. Chiefs, in particular, will hope Duba can maintain his scoring form against Siwelele.
