Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo was taken to the hospital after he was hurt in the main event of Friday’s NXT live event in Sudbury, Ontario, and the match was stopped.

Lorenzo was injured during an eight-man tag at the Sudbury Community Arena, where BirthRight (Lorenzo, Lexis King, Uriah Connors and Charlie Dempsey) faced Tony D’Angelo, Tavion Heights, Shiloh Hill and Shawn Spears. According to fans in attendance, he took a back body drop from the ring to the floor and landed hard. Medical staff put him in a neck brace and took him out on a stretcher.

F4W’s Bryan Alvarez said Lorenzo is in the hospital. There has been no word on his condition, and WWE has not commented.

After the stoppage, D’Angelo, Heights, Hill and Spears put Connors through a table to close the show. The same eight wrestlers worked the last match of Thursday’s NXT live event in Kitchener.

Lorenzo, 29, is a former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion with D’Angelo. He turned on D’Angelo in April 2025 and joined BirthRight, the group led by King, earlier this year.

We wish Lorenzo a full recovery.
