Efmajjasond González Scores Incredible Hat Trick in China, Converting Former Kaizer Chiefs Flopper Into Goal Machine! On November 8, 2026, in Johannesburg, South AfricaEfmamjjasond González, a striker for the Kaizer Chiefs, is all the rage in China after another spectacular performance—this time scoring a hat trick—in Saturday's 3-1 triumph over Foshan Nanshi.

The Colombian forward scored three more goals, continuing his impressive scoring form and showing football fans that his career is far from over despite a disappointing stint in South Africa. The game-changer came from González, who scored twice in the 31st minute to extend his team's lead after scoring once in the 17th minute. The visitors from Foshan Nanshi had a glimmer of hope in the 36th minute when Yao Hui scored a goal to pull one back. But the ex-Amakhosi attacker had different intentions. In the 58th minute, González scored his third goal, putting Nantong Zhiyun in a commanding lead and effectively ending the match for the visitors. After losing their previous league match to Changchun Yatai by a razor-thin margin of 1-0, Nantong needed this win badly to get back on track.

They are now in second place in Chinese League One, just behind Guangdong GZ-Power, who are the league leaders, thanks to this result.González has now tallied thirteen goals and one assist in sixteen league appearances this season, per the most recent statistics. Also, he's getting close to Giovanny, who has scored four goals more than him and is currently leading the league in that category. His remarkable turnaround from his time at Kaizer Chiefs is reflected in his impressive performances.González spent the 2023–24 season on loan with Amakhosi from Real Santa Cruz of Bolivia.

Regrettably, he had little success in his limited opportunities at Naturena, failing to even register an assist. His stay in South Africa did not pan out the way his admirers had hoped, so he left to pursue other professional opportunities. His 27-year-old Chinese football career is taking a new turn as he helps Nantong fight for promotion with his goals. His most recent success may make Chiefs fans wonder what may have been if he had maintained his scoring form while playing for Naturena. The most recent hat trick González scored solidified his status as a dangerous goalscorer, and he is clearly having one of his most productive periods of his career right now.
