Jesus de Miguel's Father Has Threatened to Sue Jesus Owono For Manslaughter

The father of Spanish footballer Jesus De Miguel has reportedly threatened to take legal action against goalkeeper Jesus Owono following a controversial incident on the pitch that allegedly left his son seriously affected.

In a strongly worded statement circulating on social media, De Miguel’s father accused Owono of showing disregard for his son's safety during the incident. He indicated that the family was consulting legal representatives to explore the possibility of pursuing a manslaughter charge.

He also highlighted the impact the incident could have on the footballer's family, describing De Miguel as the main breadwinner and pointing out that he has a one-year-old child who depends on him financially.

The father further expressed concern about the emotional distress experienced by his son's wife and other family members, saying the situation had caused them considerable pain.

"What happened on that pitch was not an accident, and I am not going to sit back and watch you get away with it," he said.

He maintained that Owono should be held accountable if the family proceeds with legal action.

However, the allegations and reported legal threat have not been independently verified, and no confirmed court proceedings have been established from the information provided.
