Mamelodi Sundowns and PUMA Unveil Meaningful Rise Kit for 2026/27 Season

Mamelodi Sundowns and sportswear manufacturer PUMA have unveiled the club's new third kit for the 2026/27 season, introducing a design that combines football fashion with a message of hope and empowerment for children.

Named the "Rise Kit", the new strip has been presented as a meaningful addition to the Brazilians' collection because of the message behind its design. Rather than focusing only on the club's identity and appearance on the pitch, the release also highlights the importance of giving children the opportunity to dream big and build a better future.

The kit features a white base with blue details, creating a fresh look for the South African champions. Its colours are inspired by the limitless African sky and represent hope, peace and opportunity. The design reflects the idea that children should be encouraged to believe in their abilities and pursue their ambitions without unnecessary limitations.

At the centre of the campaign is the message, "Every child deserves to dream big and rise." The statement captures the purpose behind the release and underlines the importance of supporting young people as they work towards achieving their goals.

The launch forms part of Sundowns' "Never Stop Rising" campaign, which connects the club's ambitions in football with a broader message of personal growth and positive change. By using the new kit to promote this message, the club is highlighting the role sport can play in inspiring younger generations.

The unveiling also coincides with the club's National Children's Day activities, placing children's rights and empowerment at the heart of the initiative. The campaign encourages greater attention to the opportunities children need to develop their talents, gain confidence and work towards their dreams.

For Sundowns supporters, the Rise Kit offers a different appearance from the team's familiar yellow and blue colours. Its white-and-blue design gives the third strip a distinct identity while maintaining a connection to the club's wider visual style.

The partnership between Sundowns and PUMA continues to produce playing apparel for the club, with the latest release demonstrating how a football kit can carry a message beyond the game itself.

The Rise Kit is scheduled to become available online and in stores from Friday, October 30, 2026. Sundowns are also expected to wear it for the first time when they host Durban City on Saturday.

The launch has given supporters another reason to look forward to seeing the team in action, but its wider message is what makes the release particularly notable.

Through the Rise Kit, Sundowns and PUMA are promoting the idea that every child deserves encouragement, opportunity and the freedom to imagine a brighter future.
