Osimhen Calls Lamine Yamal Over for a Special Photo, Then Becomes His Friend’s Personal Photographer

Nigerian football superstar Victor Osimhen has captured the attention of football fans after a heartwarming moment with Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal following Galatasaray’s disappointing 4-1 defeat to the Spanish giants in the UEFA Champions League.

Despite the painful result for the Turkish side, Osimhen provided a memorable moment away from the action on the pitch, demonstrating a friendly side of football that supporters rarely get to see.

The Galatasaray striker approached Yamal after the final whistle and asked the young Barcelona sensation to take a photograph with someone close to him. What made the moment particularly amusing was that Osimhen personally took responsibility for capturing the picture.

Osimhen Makes a Special Request to Yamal

According to reports surrounding the incident, Osimhen spotted Yamal after the match and called him over to fulfil a special request for his sister.

The Nigerian international wanted his sister to have a photograph with the Barcelona youngster, who has become one of the most recognisable young talents in world football.

Rather than simply asking someone else to take the picture, Osimhen stepped behind the camera himself, ensuring that the special moment was captured.

The light-hearted interaction quickly attracted attention, with fans appreciating the striker's willingness to make the experience memorable for someone close to him.

Although Osimhen had just experienced a disappointing evening on the pitch, the incident showed that footballers can put competitive frustrations aside and share positive moments with people around them.

Barcelona Hand Galatasaray a Painful Defeat

The encounter itself proved difficult for Galatasaray, who suffered a 4-1 defeat against Barcelona in the Champions League.

According to match reports, Galatasaray initially took the lead through Aleksey Batrakov in the 28th minute, raising hopes among the home supporters.

However, Barcelona responded strongly, with João Cancelo, Fermín López, Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi reportedly finding the net as the visitors completed an impressive comeback.

The defeat represented a disappointing result for Osimhen and his teammates, who were unable to maintain their early advantage.

Fans Celebrate Osimhen's Personality

Osimhen's post-match gesture has provided another talking point beyond the result, highlighting the Nigerian striker's approachable side.

For many supporters, the moment was a reminder that football is not only about goals, trophies and rivalries. Small acts of kindness can also create lasting memories.

Meanwhile, Yamal continues to attract attention for his performances and growing reputation in European football.

Although Galatasaray lost heavily, Osimhen still delivered one of the night's most memorable moments by helping someone close to him secure a photograph with Barcelona's teenage sensation.
