Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Jasond Gonzalez continued his impressive scoring form in China League One after recording his second hat-trick of the season on Saturday night.

The Colombian forward has been enjoying a productive campaign since continuing his career in Chinese football, with his latest performance further highlighting his attacking qualities and growing influence at his current club.

Gonzalez found the back of the net three times during Saturday night’s encounter, delivering another outstanding individual performance to strengthen his reputation as one of the players enjoying a successful season in the competition.

The hat-trick is particularly significant because it marks the second time the former Amakhosi striker has scored three goals in a single match this season.

His consistent performances in front of goal suggest that he has regained his confidence and attacking rhythm after his previous spell in South African football.

Gonzalez previously featured for Kaizer Chiefs, where he arrived with expectations of strengthening the club’s attacking department. However, his time with the Soweto giants did not produce the level of consistency many supporters had hoped for.

His departure from South Africa has provided him with an opportunity to rebuild his career and demonstrate his goal-scoring abilities in a different football environment.

The latest hat-trick also serves as another reminder of his attacking potential, particularly his ability to make the most of goal-scoring opportunities.

For Kaizer Chiefs supporters, Gonzalez’s recent performances in China may attract attention, considering the challenges he experienced during his time at the club.

As the China League One campaign continues, the former Amakhosi forward will be hoping to maintain his impressive scoring form and help his team achieve its objectives.

With two hat-tricks already recorded this season, Gonzalez is enjoying a campaign that represents a significant turnaround in his goal-scoring fortunes.
