Mike Makaab Hints at Sipho Mbule's Possible Future Overseas

Football agent Mike Makaab believes Sipho Mbule could continue his career abroad after his current contract with Iraqi club Zakho expires at the end of the season.

The South African midfielder has been gaining attention during his time overseas, with Makaab expressing confidence in his physical condition and ability to compete at a high level. His comments suggest that Mbule could have opportunities to remain abroad rather than immediately return to South African football.

Makaab's assessment of the midfielder's fitness is particularly encouraging, as the agent indicated that he had never seen Mbule in better shape. The observation points to the progress the player appears to have made while pursuing his career outside his home country.

Mbule has long been recognised for his technical ability, vision and creativity in midfield. However, questions about his consistency and physical condition have previously surrounded his career. Maintaining his current fitness levels and delivering consistent performances could therefore prove crucial in determining his next move.

During his time at Zakho, the midfielder has gained experience in a different football environment, potentially exposing him to new tactical approaches and challenges. Such experience could strengthen his profile and create opportunities with other clubs interested in his services.

With his contract reportedly approaching its expiry at the end of the season, attention will increasingly turn to his future. Although no confirmed decision has been announced, Makaab's comments indicate that continuing his career overseas remains a realistic possibility.

A move to another foreign club could offer Mbule an opportunity to build on his progress, provided the right offer emerges and he continues performing consistently.

For now, the midfielder's next destination remains uncertain. Whether he extends his stay at Zakho or considers opportunities elsewhere abroad, the coming months could be decisive.

Makaab's positive assessment provides encouragement for Mbule as he looks to maintain his progress and potentially establish a longer-term future in overseas football.
