Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Nyasha Mushekwi continues to demonstrate his goalscoring qualities in Chinese football, with the Zimbabwean international on course to reach double figures once again this season.

The experienced forward has maintained an impressive record in front of goal, reinforcing his reputation as one of Zimbabwe's most dependable attacking players. Despite spending years away from South African football, Mushekwi has continued to deliver consistent performances, proving that his goalscoring instincts remain sharp.

Mushekwi previously represented Mamelodi Sundowns, where he featured as part of the club's attacking setup before embarking on the next chapter of his professional career abroad. His performances in South Africa helped establish his reputation among local football supporters, who continue to follow his progress overseas.

His latest campaign in China further highlights his ability to adapt to different football environments while maintaining the consistency required of an experienced striker. Reaching double figures in successive seasons is no easy achievement, particularly in a competitive league where forwards must consistently overcome organised defences and take advantage of limited opportunities.

One of Mushekwi's greatest strengths has been his physical presence, which allows him to compete effectively against defenders and create opportunities in dangerous areas. His experience, positioning and understanding of the game have also contributed to his continued effectiveness in front of goal.

For Zimbabwean football supporters, his performances represent another encouraging example of the country's players making their mark beyond their domestic league. His continued success also serves as a reminder that experienced forwards can remain valuable assets when they combine physical ability with intelligent movement and clinical finishing.

Although the exact number of goals Mushekwi has scored in the current campaign has not been specified, the available report indicates that he is on course to maintain his double-digit scoring tradition.

His continued consistency in China underlines the longevity of his career and reinforces his reputation as a reliable goalscorer, even years after leaving South African football.
