Pyramids FC head coach Rulani Mokwena has continued to impress in Egyptian football after guiding his side to a 2-0 victory over El Daklyeh in the Egypt Cup on Saturday night.

The result extended Pyramids' winning streak to 15 consecutive matches, highlighting the remarkable consistency the South African tactician has brought to the team since taking charge.

Mokwena's side entered the cup encounter determined to maintain their impressive momentum, and they delivered another positive performance to secure qualification progress in the competition.

The victory also demonstrated Pyramids' ability to maintain their standards across different tournaments. Competing in league and cup fixtures requires regular squad management, tactical flexibility and concentration, but the team has continued producing results.

Mokwena has gradually established his influence at the Egyptian club, with his football philosophy centred on possession, movement and attacking organisation. His experience in South African football, particularly during his time at Mamelodi Sundowns, has helped shape expectations surrounding his work in Egypt.

The 15-match winning run represents an important achievement for the coach and his players. It also reflects the collective effort of a squad that has continued responding positively to the demands of the technical team.

Pyramids will now be looking to extend their impressive form as they continue pursuing their objectives in domestic competitions.

For Mokwena, maintaining this level of performance will be just as important as achieving the winning streak itself. The challenge will be to ensure that the players remain focused and avoid becoming complacent as the season progresses.

His latest success is also attracting attention from South African football followers, who continue monitoring the progress of one of the country's most recognisable coaches abroad.
