Admir Adzem Praises Orlando Pirates Midfield Trio Mokobodi, Selepe and Masilela

Orlando Pirates have received praise for the quality of their young midfielders, with football analyst Admir Adzem highlighting the talents of Mokobodi, Selepe and Masilela.

Adzem believes the three players have qualities that can help the Buccaneers maintain a strong midfield, pointing to their different abilities and the potential they bring to the team.

According to the analyst, Mokobodi stands out for his physical strength, mobility and technical quality, while Selepe has impressed with his ability to organise the team's build-up play. Masilela, meanwhile, was described as one of the best talents at the club.

Speaking about Mokobodi, Adzem praised the midfielder's ability to contribute both physically and technically.

“Orlando Pirates have a good player in Mokobodi. He's a very good player as he is mobile, strong and has a deadly educated right foot. Be it a cross or a pass, he's brilliant,” Adzem said.

Mokobodi's ability to move around the pitch, compete physically and deliver accurate passes could make him a valuable option for Pirates. Modern midfielders are expected to contribute in several areas, including winning possession, progressing the ball and creating attacking opportunities.

His right-footed delivery also gives the team another option when attempting to find teammates in dangerous positions. For Pirates, having midfielders capable of combining physical strength with technical ability can be important when facing different opponents.

Adzem also highlighted Selepe's qualities, particularly his role in helping the team build attacks from the back.

“Selepe also, he's a very good midfielder in organising Orlando Pirates' build-ups, coming out of the press or just building up from the back. He's press-resistant and can play under pressure,” he explained.

The ability to remain composed under pressure is an important quality for a midfielder. When opponents attempt to press aggressively, players who can retain possession and find the right passing options help their teams maintain control of the game.

Selepe's ability to support the build-up could therefore be valuable to Pirates as they look to move the ball efficiently from defence into midfield and attack.

Adzem also reserved praise for Masilela, describing the youngster as one of the best talents at the club. His assessment reflects the excitement surrounding the midfielder's potential and the possibilities ahead as he continues developing.

For Orlando Pirates, developing young players remains important as the club looks to maintain competition for places and build a squad capable of challenging for major honours.

The praise from Adzem highlights the different qualities Mokobodi, Selepe and Masilela can offer. While each player brings a different strength to the midfield, their continued development could give the Buccaneers more options as the season progresses.

Pirates supporters will be hoping the trio continue improving, gaining experience and making the most of their opportunities in the first team.
