The first public statement from Mandla Ncikazi since his departure from Orlando Pirates and appointment as head coach of Lamontville Golden Arrows has been made today.

As the seasoned South African coach starts a new chapter in his coaching career, he has paid tribute to his time with Orlando Pirates and expressed gratitude to his former employers.

After serving as a member of the Buccaneers' technical staff and making contributions to the team's performance in both domestic and continental competitions, Ncikazi has decided to leave the club. His background coaching one of South Africa's most prominent football clubs should serve him well as he assumes the role of Golden Arrows manager.

In his initial remarks after the transfer, Ncikazi expressed his gratitude to the individuals and organization that had offered him the chance to work for Orlando Pirates.

"I want to express my continued gratitude to my former employers," Ncikazi stated.

Even though he has taken a different professional path, his comments show that he still values his former employer. Instead of dwelling on the fact that he is leaving, the coach has decided to acknowledge the contribution his previous employers made to his career.

Ncikazi faces a new challenge with his job at Golden Arrows. His new role is to improve the Durban club's play and make them more reliable Betway Premiership contenders.

Throughout their existence, Golden Arrows have been able to both challenge and nurture players for the most prestigious teams in the nation. Fans will be hopeful that Ncikazi's arrival, with his background from Orlando Pirates, would aid the club in reaching its goals.

As he adjusts to his new role, his understanding of South African football and the requirements of the domestic league could be valuable assets.

As the Buccaneers pursue their aspirations across several tournaments, Orlando Pirates' technical structure will also undergo a change with Ncikazi's departure.

At the same time, Golden Arrows fans can't wait to watch how their new coach moulds the squad and gets everyone ready for what's to come.

As he leaves Orlando Pirates, Ncikazi has added a gracious remark with his word of appreciation. Attention will now turn to his work at Golden Arrows and the potential he has with his new club as he starts his next task.

The upcoming matches will provide the coach a chance to show what he has planned and start laying the groundwork for a prosperous future with the club headquartered in Durban.
