Orlando Pirates' Next Five Betway Premiership Fixtures Revealed

Orlando Pirates are entering an important stage of their Betway Premiership campaign, with their next five league fixtures offering the Buccaneers a chance to collect valuable points while facing a demanding run of matches.

The five-game sequence begins with one of South African football’s biggest fixtures, as Pirates host Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The match is scheduled for a 15:30 kick-off and will be broadcast on SuperSport PSL.

The derby is expected to attract significant attention, with both sides eager to claim bragging rights. Despite the importance of the league points, the rivalry between the two clubs often produces unpredictable encounters, meaning Pirates cannot afford to rely solely on form or league position.

After the derby, Pirates will begin a challenging stretch of four consecutive away matches. Their first trip will be to face Siwelele on Wednesday, November 4, with kick-off scheduled for 19:30.

The Buccaneers will then travel to face Lamontville Golden Arrows on Saturday, November 28, in an 18:00 fixture. Another away assignment follows against Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, December 5, with the match scheduled to begin at 15:30.

Pirates will conclude the five-match sequence against Richards Bay FC on Wednesday, December 16, with kick-off set for 15:30.

A total of 15 points will be available across the five matches, making the period potentially significant for Pirates' position in the Premiership standings. However, four successive away fixtures could place additional demands on the squad, particularly in terms of fitness, preparation and consistency.

The coaching staff will need to manage the squad effectively while ensuring the team remains defensively organised and clinical in attack. If Pirates can maintain their level of performance throughout the run, they could emerge with a strong points haul and greater momentum in the league.
