Team news | Ahtinen ruled out for clash with Chelsea

Martin Ho revealed that midfielder Olga Ahtinen will be unavailable for a couple of weeks ahead of our return to Women’s Super League action on Sunday at Chelsea.

The Finland international missed our last WSL outing against London City Lionesses ahead of the international break.

It has since been revealed by our Head Coach that Olga has picked up a little knock and is set for a period on the sidelines.

With players also returning from international duty on Friday (16 October) morning, Martin says everyone will be assessed before the short trip across the capital to Stamford Bridge.

"We will assess more players today when they come back from international duty as some have had longer journey than others,” Martin told the media in his pre-match press conference.

“Olga [Ahtinen] has picked up a little knock and will be out for a little bit, but that's all."
