WWE legend Trish Stratus took social media by storm during a charity gala with a red dress.

Stratus, 50, is considered by many as the greatest female professional wrestler all time but she has also put together a strong social media game.

And the WWE Hall of Famer decided to put it to good use by promoting the UHN Foundation’s brilliant work in advancing healthcare.

Part of UHN‘s work focuses on raising funds for research, education and excellence in patient care across the ex-Women’s Champion’s native Canada.

The seven-time women’s champion stood out at a glitzy event in the castle of Casa Loma in Toronto where she shared a series of snaps of her new dress across Instagram.

Stratus added the following caption: “Some evenings leave you feeling inspired long after they’re over.

“So honoured to have been invited to Grand Cru in support of @UHNFoundation – thank you to @one.twenty.eight for introducing me to their work.

“What made this evening so special wasn’t just the incredible food, wine and setting, but the opportunity to celebrate and connect with the people behind the impact – the generous donors, brilliant scientists and researchers, and the many individuals who are helping advance the future of health care.

“To sit alongside people who are making such a meaningful difference in the lives of others was truly inspiring.

“It was a beautiful reminder that behind every breakthrough, every clinical trial and every advancement in patient care, there are people who believe in making a difference.

“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible and to UHN for including me in such a meaningful celebration.

Stratus’ 2.2million followers were left in awe as they stormed the comments’ section.
